Long bangs in the 80's

I remember that I had a bowl cut for about four years, with bangs down past my eyebrows and they they just kept getting longer. Mine wnt past my nose in my first year of college when I decided to go crazy and get a perm. I looked like Martin Gore from Depeche Mode. I think it was pretty stupid looking now that I look back at it. No wonder Martin started wearing a beanie! I should have. I got it all cut really short later that year and I've kept it really short ever since then.

I don't remember that, but I do remember your stair cut in the back.  And many years at the CC with Matthew Shepard.  Missed you at the reunion, hope all is well  ;)

:-)  Thank you, Andrea. I did the perm. when I worked at the Country club, but it could have been before you started there. I got no end of grief for it, and I didn't like it either, really. I was glad when it grew out enough to chop it off.

In 2020, I started cutting my own hair when barbers closed due to Covid-19. The first time, I messed up so badly, I had to shave it off. As it grew out and I was able to taper it on the sides and back, and it looked decent.
